2012. Truth or just a movie?

Watched "2012" with siblings just now.
The show was nice, with all the effects & etc, but the show was also scary.

Why scary?
Because it makes me believe that all the disasters in the movie will really happen 3 years later.

Many people have also talked about this special year,
Judgement Day.

Is this just a movie, or is it trying to warn us about year 2012?
